Common Life in India – Street Food

After my previous post, I was kind of thinking what should be my next topic and was randomly going through my pictures when i came accross some clicks which i had taken while having some of my most favourite street food in the first week i landed here in pune.

By now you might have all understood that Travelling, Food and Fashion are most favourite topics so when i came accross these pictures I could not resist myself from posting it to all my friends out there.

Pani Puri: This puffed up crip round is filled with tangy minty water that just melts in your mouth, Its soo delicious that you can’t just have one.

Bhel: Its a puffed up rice with tart and tangy flavors, with different textures including crispy and crunchy from the puffed rice, roasted peanuts, onion and fried sev.

Dabeli: Bread buns stuffed with herbed boiled potatoes, pomegranate, mint chutney, tamarind chutney and dipped in sev, its crisp on the outside and soft inside it makes for a delicious snack on the go.

Pulav: Its a dish in which rice is cooked in a seasoned broth with various vegetables. Great taste along with being wholesome.

Pav Bhaji:  The pav-bhaji is a preparation with a mixture of mashed vegetables with, a generous dose of fresh tomatoes, a dollop of butter, with optional toppings of cheese which is served with butters buns to eat with.

Here comes something sweet after the awesome street food…. Desserts anyone ?

Kulfi: Its a kind of homemade milk candy with natural flavours of dryfruits and condensed milk really comforting and delicious.

I hope you guys enjoyed a visual feast of lip smacking street food from the streets of Pune in India.
